Seu trabalho pioneiro ajudou a chamar a aten\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica internacional para as caracter\u00edsticas \u00fanicas e mensur\u00e1veis do mel de Manuka.<\/p>\n<p>Ele introduziu o conceito de classifica\u00e7\u00e3o conhecido como UMF (Unique Manuka Factor), contribuindo para os primeiros esfor\u00e7os de padroniza\u00e7\u00e3o e classifica\u00e7\u00e3o do mel de Manuka com base em par\u00e2metros mensur\u00e1veis.<\/p>\n<p>Por meio de in\u00fameras publica\u00e7\u00f5es cient\u00edficas, o professor Molan avan\u00e7ou na compreens\u00e3o do perfil qu\u00edmico do mel de Manuka e de sua composi\u00e7\u00e3o distinta.
