Hal ini tentu saja berlaku untuk klasifikasi madu MGO Manuka.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><em>Profesor Thomas Henle - Universitas Teknik Dresden, Jerman<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pada tahun 2006, Profesor Thomas Henle dan tim risetnya di Technical University of Dresden mengidentifikasi methylglyoxal (MGO) sebagai senyawa terukur yang ada dalam madu Manuka. Karya perintisnya membantu membawa perhatian ilmiah internasional pada karakteristik madu Manuka yang unik dan terukur.<\/p>\n<p>Ia memperkenalkan konsep penilaian yang dikenal sebagai UMF (Unique Manuka Factor), yang berkontribusi pada upaya awal untuk menstandarisasi dan mengklasifikasikan madu Manuka berdasarkan parameter yang dapat diukur.<\/p>\n<p>Melalui berbagai publikasi ilmiah, Profesor Molan memajukan pemahaman tentang profil kimiawi madu Manuka dan komposisinya yang khas. Penelitiannya meletakkan dasar-dasar penting untuk penelitian selanjutnya, termasuk identifikasi dan kuantifikasi methylglyoxal (MGO) sebagai penanda yang dapat diukur.<\/p>\n<p><em>Profesor Peter Molan meninggal dunia pada tahun 2015.
